We look back on decades of successful history and are proud to have been one of the first companies worldwide to specialize in tooling systems for CNC Swiss-type lathes.
2021
The GRAF Home Page appears in a new design and has been expanded. With the GRAF WEB-Inquiry-Shop, the tools can be easily found and inquired in the ONLINE delivery program.
2018
New cylindrical grinding machine to increase the precision of GRAF tools: with the commissioning of the Weiss W11 precision cylindrical grinding machine, tools can now be ground to the highest possible precision.
2017
Renewed expansion of production capacities: Commissioning of another HERMLE C250 M milling machine.
2016
Renovation of the administration: As part of the renovation of the administration, all windows were replaced and blinds were renewed. This investment mainly serves to save energy and heating costs. Furthermore, the previous office furniture was replaced with ergonomic height-adjustable desks.
2015
Expansion of production capacities; Commissioning of the CTX Beta 800 turning-milling center from DMG.
2011
Commissioning of a Hermle 5-axis machining center
2010
GRAF is certified according to the latest ISO 9001 guidelines. GRAF has always stood for the quality of its products.
2009
Expansion of the sales structures – GRAF now has 15 foreign representatives worldwide. Thanks to intensive cooperation with partner companies, especially with the company HORN in Tübingen, the sales structures abroad could be expanded. In Germany, a sales representative was hired for Southern Germany.
2008
Renewed expansion of the production capacities – In May the new production hall with more than 400 sqm was inaugurated. In June the MORI SEIKI turning/milling center was put into operation.
2007
Expansion of production capacities – With the acquisition of two DMG milling centers, the increasing demand for GRAF tooling systems can be met. In addition, a PPS system was introduced for production control and planning.
2001
First foreign agencies – GRAF exports its tool systems to exclusive agencies in Switzerland, Italy and France.
2000
A large number of patented new developments followed:
- Adjustable multiple turning toolholder
- Profile and marking unit
- World’s first ground indexable insert with sunk thread
- Disc parting systems for CNC automatic lathes
- First internally cooled insert holders
New production hall and administration; from now on all tool systems were manufactured in Böhringen.
1983
